TOM PAUL SCHNEIDER has been a professional engraver working full time since 1977. His last job, before going through an engraving apprenticeship in Albuquerque New Mexico, was as a  working cowboy on the seven thousand acre Las Floras Ranch.  The ranch pastured 1,000 head of cattle, near Summit Valley California.

The largest ranch Tom has worked on as an open range cowboy was the sixty one thousand acre Gibson Cattle Company Ranch in central Arizona.

Now Tom works in his classic one man shop, near the Chiricahua mountains in southeastern Arizona.  He has become a nationally known engraving artist, creating custom designs for galleries, collectors, celebrity clients and working cowboys.

In 1997 Tom received the Will Rogers Cowboy Award for "Engraver of the Year" from the Academy of Western Artists in Fort Worth, Texas.  In 2004 Tom was the True West Magazine       "Best of the West" Silversmith .
